Our Story

The idea for Universal Smile first came to me as I was hiking to Machu Picchu in Peru. I noticed how impactful and beautiful the simple human expression of a smile was. No matter what language someone spoke, or where they came from, we greeted and passed by each other with a smile. Whether it was a fellow tourist from anywhere around the world or a local from the depths of the mountain range, our smiles connected us.

As I continued the trek, I kept this idea in the back of my mind. Soon after, I was sketching logo ideas and slogans on paper napkins in restaurants, and Universal Smile was born. 

I am so excited to share my story, sell products embodying this idea, and give back to the special place that influenced me. 

10% of all sales will be donated to organizations in Peru benefitting primary education. 

This makes me smile, and I hope you as well.
